Equipment

Types of equipment I use for my films and photography are...

  Canon 1100D
I got this Canon1100D camera with an 18-55mm lens. This year in April I bought this off Trade Me so it's second hand. (My mother helped me pay half of it). It is a basic entry level DSLR. This is the main camera I use now for my film and photography. I really like this camera because it shoots very well and produces a clear image. And the film quality is very good. I treasure this item alot!

Vivitar VPT 120 Tripod

This is a Vivitar VPT 120 Tripod. So far I have only used this for my Canon 1100D. I don't really like this tripod that much.

Digital Cameras
Sony Cyber-Shot Camera (DSC-W310)
Sony Cyber-Shot Camera (DSC-T77)

I have used these two cameras for my first two videos on Youtube. (Things I like to do and Things from my Childhood) I have also used them for some other videos aswell that aren't on youtube. These two cameras were my main cameras for film and photography before I purchased Canon 1100D.

Mini Tripod

I got this Mini Tripod last year on December 20th, 2015. (Yep, I still have the receipt for it.) And I got it for a cheap price, $3.50. When I was at the shop I couldn't believe how cheap it was. I immediately brought it and used it. It still works quite well. I thought it would be damage by now - broken to bits. I only use this tripod for my digital cameras because obviously putting the Canon 1100D will destroy the tripod as it can't hold heavy weighted cameras.

Tripod

I still do this. Piling chairs and books up to make a good level tripod for my cameras to capture a shot. This picture on the right is the most ridiculous tripod I ever made. I use objects around the house to turn it into a tripod. For each video all my tripods are different. Using objects to make a tripod is pretty good and is stable. But the annoying thing about it is, is putting everything away when I'm done with it.

Lighting
I use sunlight for lighting.

Sound
For voices/vocals, I use iPhone or any sort of phone (or recording apps) will do to capture the sound.

Editing (not really an equipment)
For editing, I just use the simple editing software "Windows Movie Maker". Although I would like to upgrade to Adobe Premiere Pro but I don't really have money.

These's are the 'Types of equipment I use for my films and photography.' You don't need expensive and fancy equipment to start off with. Use what you have got and it could turn out as a pretty decent film. :)

Thanks,
Sarah :)
